The Cochise Strikes Back! Getting the CTFd instance up and running

Ok, so the last talk went a little long…

Let’s try this again, shall we? Cochise is gonna be within the safety and comfort of his Arcane Sanctum with all of the time in the world. We start with learning about DNS and we end with fully-hardened, ready-to-roll CTFd images. Y’all will be home and comfy too so you can take notes, screencaps, whatever. Let’s git ‘er done this time!

  1. We get our cloud servers up.
  2. We harden and secure them.
  3. We get CTFd working.
  4. We get CTFd hardened, secured, and we learn about Let’s Encrypt.
  5. ?????
  6. Profit

The benefit to this is I can take my time helping people at their speed!

This will be 100% remote. I’ll either host it in guild Discord or I might do a Zoom room. It depends on how many people outside of the Temple want to play with us.
