To that end we are launching the inaugural Wear Able Scholarship! Let us help you with your cybersecurity goals. Lets get you networking with a bunch of professionals already in the field. How about a certification, a class, or maybe a conference?
The WEAR ABLE Security Scholarship
Dr. Sunny Wear, in partnership with the Neon Temple and Ransomwear, would like to extend a scholarship to one of our awesome Student members or to a local Infosec student in the Tampa Bay Area.
The “WEAR ABLE” Security Scholarship has been created to provide an Infosec student in need, the funds to purchase and take an industry training course, certification, or collegiate class.
Along with funding the students’ advancement of knowledge we are also offering to fund several months of membership to the Neon Temple where the student can gain access to mentorship and our diverse community of I.T./Infosec practitioners.
In summary, this scholarship covers:
Industry-related training course and/or certification attempt. (within the scholarship funds ability )
OR
Collegiate course to advance their degree path. (within the scholarship funds ability)
The Scholarship also covers several months of membership with The Neon Temple. To qualify one must:
- Be an active collegiate student, or lifelong learner and Infosec enthusiast looking to break into the Infosec field.
- Submit a Summary addressing your current academic status, your topic/certification of interest, and how you intend to utilize the scholarship.
- Include contact information in your summary. ( email, Social media, etc. )
